The update indicates that the monthly fee will rise to USD 110 per user with increase in storage capacity from 3GB to 5GB with effect from October 1, 2025,

Business Central Device License

The Device license for Business Central is useful in retail, manufacturing, or service environments where multiple users share a single device. This license is set up on a per-device basis instead of charging for each individual user.

This license costs 40 US dollar per device with 1 GB of cloud storage at present.

The price will increase to US dollar 45 per device with an increase of storage capacity from 1 GB to 1.5 GB with effect from October 1, 2025.

This extra storage will help organizations keep more data from shared devices, such as inventory updates, point-of-sale transactions, and operational records.

How does the pricing affect Business Central Users?

New Customers or New Implementations

Organizations that subscribe to Business Central on or after October 1, 2025, will have to pay the updated price and receive increased storage.

For subscriptions initiated before October 1, 2025, Business Central will be charged at the old price with the old storage allocation.

Existing Customers or Renewals

For renewals of Business Central before October 1, 2025, organizations can continue with the old pricing. The new price will be applied for renewals on or after October 1, 2025.
